Hi friends! I’m Holly Perona and welcome to my blog. I live in Ca with my husband and 3 babies! I was in desperate need of a creative outlet so here we are! If you stop by you’ll probably find me talking about my children, faith, painting, DIY attempts, my love for essential oils or road trips! My dream is to live on a little farm or at least have a bunch of animals. We already have a pet cow so that’s a start :)

Everyone needs a pet cow!

Ballerina Unicorn Moo Moo. That is the name of our new family pet. Ellie had the honor of naming her and she actually tried to add Little Mermaid to the end, but I convinced her the name was perfect how it was.

So we loaded her up in the back of my suburban…

We have a couple of cows out on our property and were planning on selling them after they ate all of the grass down. We went to check on them and were surprised to find one of them had twins! Ballerina was one of the twins and unfortunately the mom was ignoring her. She hadn’t eaten and was so weak she couldn’t stand up. My husband said maybe we should bring her home or the coyotes will get her. Ummmm…what! Yes, absolutely we should bring her home. So we loaded her up in the back of my suburban. I had the biggest grin the whole ride home lol. My dream is to have a whole farm of animals so this is definitely a good start! Now I just need to convince him to get chickens, some goats, an alpaca or two and some more cows.

Apparently the cow only likes Tom..

She was having a hard time eating at first and we really though she wasn’t going to make it! Turns out she just only likes my husband to feed her…what the heck. Every time I tried to give her a bottle she fights me but as soon as Tom would try she would eat a little. Whatever…my Alpaca will love me for sure. Turns out she had Pneumonia and that’s why she wasn’t eating! My husband started her on some antibiotics (he’s a vet) and she started to perk up. Ellie wanted to make her comfy so she brought out her cow stuffed animal and they put a little blanket on her….so sweet!!

She has already become part of the fam and I found myself yelling at Ellie yesterday, “shut the gate so your cow doesn’t get out!” and I realized I’m living my dream life LOL. Well almost…I need about 10 more animals.
